Privacy Policy

🔒 Our core privacy commitment

We never log, store, or read your prompts or responses.
Your conversations stay between you and the model — not us.
We store only the metadata needed for billing (token counts, timestamps, model used).
We do not sell your data. Ever.
We do not use your data to train models.

How your data flows

When you make an API request:

Your request reaches NeuralGate's router over TLS (encrypted in transit).
The router forwards it to the selected hoster or cloud provider. The prompt content is never written to disk by NeuralGate.
The response is returned to you. Again, content is never stored.
Only the token count, latency, model name, and timestamp are logged to our billing database.

Note on hosters: When your request is routed to a third-party hoster, that hoster's server processes your prompt. NeuralGate cannot control what hosters do with traffic on their own machines. If data privacy is critical, use model=auto to prefer local routing, or request a specific verified hoster whose privacy practices you trust.

Third-party services

Supabase — billing database (token counts, account data). Hosted in US-East. Supabase Privacy Policy
Anthropic Claude — used as cloud fallback when no local hoster is available. Anthropic's API does not train on API data. Anthropic Privacy Policy
Let's Encrypt — TLS certificate provider. No data shared beyond domain name.

Data retention

Billing metadata (token counts, timestamps) is retained for 90 days for dispute resolution, then automatically deleted. Account data (email, API key hashes) is retained until you request deletion.

Your rights

Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about your account.
Deletion: Request complete account and data deletion at any time.
Correction: Update your email or account information.
Portability: Export your usage history in JSON format.

GDPR & CCPA

We comply with GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California) to the extent applicable. We do not sell personal data. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. If you are an EU resident and believe we have violated your GDPR rights, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

NeuralGate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this policy before they take effect.
